The European Taekwondo Union (ETU) is the regional federation for WTF Taekwondo. With 48 member nations the European region is the largest of all five.

 

 

The Italian Taekwondo Federation (FITA) is the Governing Body for WTF Taekwondo in the Italy. The FITA is a member of the WTF and the European Taekwondo Union.

 

 

The World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) was established in 1973 and is the International Federation [IF] governing the sport of Taekwondo. The WTF is a member of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations [ASOIF]. The WTF recognizes national Taekwondo governing bodies recognized by the National Olympic Committee (NOC) in the pertinent country, one in each country, as its members.

 

The Italian Olympic Committee (Italian: Comitato Olimpico Nazionale Italiano, CONI) is the national Olympic committee in Italy for the Olympic Games movement. It is a non-profit organisation that selects teams, and raises funds to send Italian competitors to Olympic events organised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
